“The Black Ikwe Project,” which is a sharing of Native American, Black, and Afroindigenous narratives through music, video art, and performance. The stories begin with my own with the hopes to expand and create space for more Black X Native stories.

Ikwe = Woman in the Ojibwe language.

Black = Black ( like the diaspora 🖤 )

Afroindigenous = Mixed Black and Indigenous (1st ppls cultures) & Indigenous Africans.
